Include people’s feedback in statute, ex-King Shah tells parties

KATHMANDU: Former King Gyanendra Shah said people’s feedback collected on thepreliminary draft of the new constitution should be incorporated in the statute.
Speaking with mediapersons after offering worship at the Makhan-based Pashupatinath Temple, the former monarch stressed on the need to make the new constitution a common document for all.
He urged political parties and leaders not to neglect people’s sentiments.
Meanwhile, the World Hindu Youth Federation has performed atonement ritual at the Makhan-based Pashupatinath Temple wishing for national welfare.
The Federation wished for eternal peace to those who lost their lives to the April 25 earthquake and its aftershocks.
The ex-King also visited different sites including Hanumandhoka, Kasthamandap, Maru Ganesthan, among others today.
