Vote on account bill passed, appropriation and raising of natl loan bills tabled

KATHMANDU, JUL 16 - The meeting of the Legislature-Parliament unanimously on Thursday passed the vote on Account Bill 2072 tabled by Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat. 

Mahat also tabled the Appropriation Bill 2072 and Bill pertaining to the raising of national debt 2072 at the meeting that began some seven hours behind schedule. 

Lawmakers Prem Suwal, Haricharan Shah, and Shakti Bahadur Basnet, among others, took part in the clause-wise deliberations on the Bill. 

Responding to queries raised by the lawmakers, Finance Minister Mahat said the vote on account bill was introduced in order to run the country until the appropriation bill was approved. 

The Legislature-Parliament shall meet next on July 23.
