Duo killed in Chitwan as bike, trucks try to overtake each-other

CHITWAN: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider killed while their two-wheeler was mangled by two trucks in Kalikhola of the district on Saturday afternoon.
One of the deceased has been identified as Mukti Bahadur BK (22) from Deurali of Gorkha, who was riding the bike, while the pillion rider is yet to be identified.
Both breathed their last while being rushed the Bharatpur Hospital, police said.
The bike (Ga 3 Pa 3581) was pressed by two trucks (Se 1 Kha 865 and Na 1 Ka 3345), heading toward Narayangadh from Mugling, police said.
The bike was also heading toward Narayangadh.
Preliminary investigations suggested that the accident took place while the bike tried to overtake a truck and the other truck tried to overtake the both vehicles simultaneously.
Police nabbed a truck driver while impounded all three vehicles involved in the accident.
Driver of the second truck is on the run.
