Aug 24, 2015- Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has urged all the agitating groups to exercise restraint in the wake of violent protests in various parts of the country.

Addressing the Legislature-Parliament on Monday after a violent incident in Tiakpur of Kailali district, Prime Minister Koirala said the constitution is a compromise document that may not address the concerns of all the groups. “But the constitution can be amended as it is not the something carved in stone. There are enough room for change,” he added.
He called on the agitating people to press their demand in a peaceful manner.
Earlier in the meeting, Home Minister Bam Dev Gautam called on the parliament to pass a resolution appealing the people to observe restraint and maintain social harmony.
